For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

EASY Craft & Gift Ideas #1

Hi friends.

Here at Wonderfully Home Made, one of us really needs easy ideas.  One of us can't even thread the sewing machine.  (You should be able to figure out who pretty easily.  But she is hoping to rectify that situation before long. [grin])

But we truly believe that creativity comes in many forms.  After all, our Creator God displays His creativity in an amazing myriad of ways.

So, we want to help you find easy ways to be creative.

We hope these ideas can help you beautify your home, give frugal and useful gifts, and brighten the lives of others.

We'll be linking to other posts we find around the internet and perhaps even posting a few ideas of our own.

Here are a few to get you started.

Homemade Peppermint Foaming Hand Soap (TheHumbledHomemaker.com)
The Humbled Homemaker shares this great idea just in time for the holidays.  Rather than buy holiday scented expensive soaps from Bath & Body (no offense to B&B), make your own.

"Snow" Jars (TheInspiredRoom.Net)
It doesn't get much easier than this, and what a beautiful way to decorate the home.  Candlelight just adds something special.  Next time you're having company -- or better yet, treat your family as special company -- light a few of these for a festive atmosphere.

Make Your Own Snowflake Wrapping Paper (Family Fun Magazine)
Yes, you can make your own wrapping paper.  This would look great even on plain brown paper!  Let the kids help and they'll feel so creative right along with you!

Blessings,
